Department Position/Description
Bingo

Bingo Floor Supervisor – 2 Full Time The Bingo Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Bingo Shift Manager with operational management responsibilities.  This includes: employee development, staffing and scheduling, and the management of all procedures and processes that support the Bingo operations while maintaining the highest standards of guest player services.  Associates degree and four to six (4-6) years of related gaming experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.  Knowledge of all casino Bingo games.  Excellent communication and time management skills.  Should be proficient in ability to train employees in Bingo Operations.  Basic computer skills required. Must possess basic mathematical skills, balance cash drawer, and compute discounts and percentages.  Thorough knowledge of Seminole Tribe of Florida bingo procedures and operational requirements.

Tables Games Administrative Assistant – 1 Full Time Under the direction of the Department Head, the incumbent coordinates office activities including scheduling appointments, delegating work, providing information to callers, taking dictation, and otherwise relieving the Department Head of clerical administrative and business related details.  Computer experience in Microsoft Office a must and the ability to use Kronos time management systems, MMS, LMS and CMP will be necessary.  Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or Tribal/governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, vendors and the general public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, etc.  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.  High School diploma or GED with two (2) years of related experience as described above and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Cash Ops

Cage Shift Manager – 2 Full Time Oversees the daily Cage operations for an assigned shift, enforces accounting controls in order to safeguard the company’s assets.  Ensures compliance with Gaming Regulations including the Class III Compact, and Title 31.  Monitors business demands and makes necessary scheduling and staffing adjustments.  In charge of training employees, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees.   Assists the Cage Manager with interviewing and selection of cashiers, and day to day operations of the Cage employees.  Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with all departments.  Handles employee related issues with composure and professionalism.  Performs other related duties as assigned.  Supervises Cage Supervisors, Cage Cashiers, Pit Clerks, Specialty Bankers. Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.   High school diploma or GED.  Two years of Casino Cage Supervisory experience in a high volume Class III Casino environment and basic computer skills.  Must have thorough knowledge of Title 31.

Pitt Clerk – 5 Full Time Responsible for ensuring timely and efficient entry of player rating data and that “shift counts” and the “day end counts” are performed and completed.  Entering and updating player accounts and rating data, assisting with tournaments, promotions, and hotel accommodations.  Assisting pit management with comps and hit sheets, and helping accommodate valued players with account number and player cards, upon request.  Responsible for all aspects of registration of weekly table game tournaments.  To include entry fees, cash receipts, table assignments and Island Gold account entry for new players.  Ensure the safety and security of all guest and employees.  Other duties as assigned.  The ability to use a computer, comp printer, cash box, telephone, voice mail system, photocopier, and 10 key calculator.  A high school or GED equivalent.  One year experience as a Pit Clerk or equivalent training.

Facilities

Dispatcher – 1 Full Time Responsible for dispatching facilities operations technicians to various areas of property and some administrative duties with respect to the facilities operations department.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.  Monitor radio receiver, telephone calls, incoming emails for department requests. Conduct weekly walk-through inspections with department head; create an inspection summary and generate work orders accordingly. Generate work orders, data entry to the work order system and track to completion.  Dispatch facility technicians and issue work orders.  Update department head on a daily basis. Ability to recognize emergency situations and react accordingly, keeping department head and supervisors well informed.  Track outgoing/incoming of all Facility tools and supplies, including weekly inventory of hurricane/emergency supplies.  Create files for new purchases’ warranties and operation manuals.  Execute/develop lists for in-house preventive maintenance (PM) programs and track/monitor/file all PM inspections, such as: air conditioner filter replacement, condenser coil cleaning, exterior parking lot lights, irrigation systems, food and beverage refrigeration equipment and appliances, parking lot (pot holes, bumpers, signage), TAD/Bingo Chairs and interior lighting. Generate any necessary work orders/requests for service based on the above inspection reports.  Knowledge in proper usage of voice radio and telephone equipment; basic math and recordkeeping; general office practices and procedures.  Monitor accuracy of service vendors’ sign-in log book.  Provide administrative support to facility supervisors and Housekeeping Manager.  Track and file housekeeping daily sign-in sheets, call-offs, vacations, inspections, and daily tasks for all shifts.  Inventory and requisition housekeeping supplies.

Food & Beverage

Bartender – 1 Full Time Ensure customer satisfaction in assigned area.  Promptly provide complimentary soda and coffee to floor servers.  Must obtain T.I.P.S. certification and attend update classes as required.  Must obtain Food Handler’s certification and attend update classes as needed.  Follow proper procedures and recipes when preparing drinks.  Maintain cash handling procedures.  Must adhere to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.  Keep bar area clean, sanitary and organized.  Fills out daily inventory and submits it to the food and beverage clerk to be filled.  All bartenders are responsible for maintaining kegs.  Assists with keeping storage areas clean and organized.  Ensure outstanding customer service, focusing on 100% guest satisfaction.  Any additional, reasonable duties assigned to by the Food and Beverage Manager.  Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds.  Must be able to work independently.  Must be able to deal effectively with diverse departments and have flexibility to work in a constantly changing environment.  Must be able to read, write and speak English. Bi-lingual a plus. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to tolerate second hand cigarette smoke.  High School Diploma and two years cash handling and POS experience.  Excellent communication skills.

Assists with preparation of all food products as directed by the chef.  Must obtain Food Handler’s certification and attend update classes as needed.  Responsible for prep and operation of daily action station.  Maintains standards of the culinary department.  Continually seek new methods and programs to promote the food and beverage operation and the property as a whole.  Any other reasonable request made by management.  Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds.  Must be able to work independently.  Must be able to deal effectively with diverse departments and have flexibility to work in a constantly changing environment.  Must be able to read, write and speak English. Bi-lingual a plus.  Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.  Must be able to stand and walk foe extended periods of time.  Must be able to tolerate second hand cigarette smoke.  High School Diploma, college degree preferred but may be waived with extensive experience in a similar capacity.  Two years of supervisory experience of at least 25 people in both front and back of house.  Excellent communication skills.

Supervisor – 1 Full Time Directly assist the Food and Beverage Manager and management team to ensure the smooth and profitable operation of the entire Seminole Casino Hollywood Food and Beverage Department. Must obtain T.I.P.S. certification and attend update classes as required.  Must obtain Food Handler’s certification and attend update classes as needed.  Oversees cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and profitability are maintained.  Monitors all free drinks to ensure accuracy and proper credit is received.  Acts immediately on all customer complaints and takes corrective action as needed.  Assists Food and Beverage Manager in recruiting, interviewing and hiring team members. Counsels, guides, trains, instructs and takes disciplinary action as needed with assigned personnel in the proper performance of their duties.  Oversees all aspects of the Servers and Cashiers Job Objectives including  maintaining and exceeding guest satisfaction standards, assignment and follow up of side work duties, proper punch in and out procedures and proper following of work schedules. 

Assists with development of food and beverage menus as requested.  Ensures that all work areas are clean and sanitary at all times. Ensures that par levels for all food and non-food products are maintained.  Continually seek new methods and programs to promote the food and beverage operation and the property as a whole. Communicates effectively to the Food and Beverage Manager about daily operations including any challenges and suggestions for improvements.  Acts proactively to solve challenges in their elementary stages before the guest is affected. This includes both internal and external guests.  Any additional, reasonable duties assigned to by the Food and Beverage Director.

Lightning Bingo Lighting Bingo Clerk – 2 Part Time This position is responsible for serving player guests in the Lightning Bingo Room by  providing chips and boards to play the games, making change for players, and assisting players with rules of the game. Provide customers with chips and boards. Explain and ensure that the rules are being followed. Makes change for players. Collect chips and distribute winning at the end of each game. Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times by providing friendly service to players and being available to meet their needs.
IT IT Manager – 1 Full Time Plan, direct, and manage the daily operation of the Information Technology (IT) department at the property level.  Establish department policies and procedures in conjunction with corporate IT standards.  Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains the IT environment to include computer hardware and software, computer peripherals, telephone hardware and software, and other hardware and appliances necessary to the IT operations.  The Manger is responsible for forward-looking system and component implementation that will assure investment protection by remaining at the front of technological advancements. Applicants should posses a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional training and certification.  Five years of experience in computer department operations management is preferred.  Experience with mid-range systems and RPG preferred.  Must possess strong management and people skills as well as excellent communication and time management skills.  Organized approach to daily business is required.
Public Space Floor Attendant – 7 Full Time Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, the incumbents primarily cleans and maintains all public and employee areas. Must be able to clean, vacuum, some lifting required.  High School diploma or equivalent with previous public area cleaning experience or related experience.  Positions requires standing and walking 100% of the time.
Marketing Advertising Coordinator – 1 Full Time Provide direct mail and advertising support for the Director of Marketing and Advertising Manager including but not limited to maintaining the direct mail matrix, coordinating ALL direct mail efforts on both the front-end and back-end, proof all advertising collateral, and maintaining strong controls of thoroughness, consistency, and timeliness. Maintains policies, procedures and standards relating to database management and monitors transaction activity. Assists in maintaining the overall integrity of customer data and information. Coordinates the scheduling of monthly direct mail programs, including list generation, proformas, creation of offers, creative, production, implementation and post campaign analysis. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all computer systems and applications that comprise the Player’s Club system. (CMP, TIS, GHS)Assists with the implementation of all marketing programs. Work with Mktg. Director to develop DM matrix for each month. Pull weekly New Member Lists and provide to SMP. Other duties as assigned. Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.  Must be able and willing to work flexible hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent required and one (1) year casino marketing experience required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Security

Security Officer – 4 Full Time  Promotes an outgoing, friendly customer oriented personality at all times.  Provides basic security coverage ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, employees and the company.  High school diploma or GED required. Experience in working with public under stressful conditions helpful; or an equivalent combination or education and/or work experience.  Valid motor vehicle license with good driving record.  Must be able to wear a radio earphone without any medical limitations.  Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time, able to climb steps, respond to emergency situations and handle basic duties and responsibilities of the position.
